Well .. what's a sandbox?
Real life is a sandbox .. compared to that all games are theme parks.

No and i didn't say it was :)
Originally by: Tippia It means everyone can do what they want, including stuff that keeps you from doing what you want.
But well, aren't we very limited by what the game allows you to do?
Just not having an end-game or linear progression path isn't necessarily a sandbox. If I think sandbox, it's shaping the world to you liking. The tools to do it are quite limited in EVE.

Oh yes its CCP of course..
There are more people who eat at McD's than at three-star restaurants. Guess where the food is better?
I wonder if there were no price differences .. where would people eat then .. ?

RL isn't a sandbox. It's a black iron prison and we use games, among other things, to escape it.
No. Your life is your own "fault". Nobody ever forced you to live your life like you do, unless you are definitly forced into it.
There are way more choices to live however it pleases you, than most people can imagine.
Agreed. If you really think EVE offers more different possibilities than real life you really need help. And yes if you don't take them or choose to walk the usual road that's not life's fault, that's your own choice. If you only look at the number of professions you can pick ..

Oh really? And how many of these different possibilities have you experienced?
Are you really being serious? Let's say I did, saw, heard, smelled and tasted more different things IRL than the whole of what EVE has to offer? And that's just my little part.
